Youth organize and carry out volunteer projects and special events in the community, participate in fun team building activities, and practice entrepreneurship by developing business plans that test their ideas in real life situations!
Receive mentor-ship training and support, learn about community resources, how to advocate for your interests, and give back to your community.
Out trips, team projects, guest speakers, and social recreation form the basis of KYC.
Youth get to play basketball with each other every Friday from
Teaches children 6 - 12 years old the basics of growing herbs and vegetables using hydroponic equipment. They also learn about the valuable nutrients contained inside food and how to prepare healthy snacks.
A girls' only program for 1 - 14 years old.
Make new friends and do fun activities at the community house as well as join the group for fun trips to local destinations!
From beginners to experts; If you like to sew or want to learn then this is the program for you. Sewing machines and materials are provided. Volunteers are usually on hand to help.
Fresh and affordable vegetables and fruits are available at this trailer that visits sites across Ottawa weekly. Come and see what's on offer.
Use computers with internet access and print things using one of the printers available in the community house.
